News Summary:

On July 8, 2026, free streaming network wedotv signed a distribution agreement with TiVo, making eight of wedotv’s FAST Channels available on TiVo-powered connected TV and automotive platforms across Europe through TiVo Channels, the free streaming service integrated into the TiVo OS interface. Previously, on July 6, TiVo Ads President Matt Milne discussed the connected car as an opportunity for media companies to attract audiences, citing the importance of engaged platforms and data in a fragmented screen environment. Earlier, on June 30, an analysis of subscription commerce noted that North American households subscribe to more than 10 video services per TiVo. This followed TiVo's June 18 announcement that TiVo Channels, formerly TiVo+, expanded its selection of new FAST channels across the US and key European markets, including the UK, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain, where TiVo OS is available. On June 17, TiVo, a wholly owned subsidiary of entertainment technology company Xperi, partnered with Viasat to integrate the TiVo operating system (OS) as the connected TV (CTV) platform across Viasat-delivered services worldwide.
