Vodafone, a publicly owned company headquartered in the UK, was founded in 1982 and employs approximately 134,470 individuals. The company reported $45.3B in revenue as of 2025. Functioning as a multinational telecoms conglomerate, its main product offering is telecoms services.
Vodafone Business opened a new customer hub in Malaysia on July 6, 2026, marking a key milestone for its Asia-Pacific and Middle East regional operations and reinforcing its commitment to multinational customers and partners. Previously, on June 29, Vodafone Business and Banque Misr announced a strategic partnership in Cairo, aimed at providing entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with operational and financial solutions via the “Engz by Vodafone Business” platform. This initiative aligns with the perspective shared by Marika Auramo, CEO of Vodafone Business, on June 25, who highlighted that businesses increasingly value connectivity for the intelligence and possibilities it enables, rather than solely for basic services. Earlier in June, Vodafone published insights on the 22nd, identifying SMBs as a largely untapped growth opportunity for telcos that struggle with existing service models. Also on June 22, Vodafone detailed its year-long partnership with the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UKCEH), showcasing how connectivity innovations are strengthening flood defenses as part of broader climate resilience efforts.
