On May 1, 2026, Telxius enhanced its content delivery network (CDN) by integrating Synamedia's Quortex Switch, enabling content providers to dynamically switch between CDNs in real time. Telxius directly integrated its carrier-grade CDN into its Tier 1 IP high-capacity backbone and submarine cable systems. Also on May 1, Synamedia announced a collaboration with FX Digital, a Connected TV and OTT app specialist, to provide application design expertise for GO Shorts, its recently launched AI-powered Go module. This follows Synamedia's April 30 partnership with FX Digital to support the launch of GO Shorts, an AI-powered module designed to help video service providers deliver short-form content experiences to mobile-first audiences. GO Shorts, part of the Synamedia GO platform, repurposes existing content libraries into personalized short-form feeds. Earlier on April 30, Synamedia and Telxius teamed up to enable content providers to adopt a flexible, scalable multi-CDN strategy, utilizing Quortex Switch to enhance the streaming experience for Telxius customers.
