Eurosport, alongside TNT Sports, will broadcast over 4,000 live hours across a summer of sport in May, June, and July, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) announced on April 30, 2026. This extensive coverage will feature major global events and athletes. Previously, on January 24, 2026, RTP and Eurosport guaranteed global broadcast coverage for the Volta ao Algarve, following a University of Algarve and Cision study that reported a record global impact of €36.5 million for the 2025 event. All stages of the Volta ao Algarve are available live on RTP2 and RTP Play in Portugal. Earlier, a post-event business analysis report for La Vuelta 2025, published on November 6, 2025, detailed that WBD secured European broadcasting rights for the event at $1.9 million per year. The report also highlighted 16 million viewers tuned in across RTVE and Eurosport, with La Vuelta 2025 achieving $12.09 million in sponsorship.
