Megogo, a privately owned company headquartered in Ukraine, was founded in 2010 and employs approximately 700 individuals, specializing in media and TV services. The company functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer, operating as a Ukrainian OTT video service platform aimed at ex-USSR markets.
Megogo secured rights from Dazn on May 21, 2026, to distribute the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Rico Verhoeven boxing fight in Poland and the Czech Republic on a pay-per-view basis. The event, scheduled for May 23 in Giza, Egypt, includes the full undercard alongside the main bout. Previously, on July 7, 2025, Megogo broadcast the Club World Cup semi-final between PSG and Real Madrid, which took place on July 9, as part of its Public Broadcasting quota. This followed the announcement on June 2, 2025, that Ukrainian cable operator Volia added the Megogo Sport TV channel to its pay-TV lineup, making it available to digital TV subscribers in cities such as Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv, and others, starting June 5.
Megogo currently holds 21 broadcasting rights for sports competitions including boxing, basketball, combat sports, soccer | association football and motorsports.
