The company specializes in media and TV services, functioning as a Chinese subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service that primarily produces and distributes films and television series.
On March 16, 2026, an initial filing by a director, officer, or owner holding more than ten percent was made for iQiyi. This followed two similar initial filings on March 15, 2026, concerning a director, officer, or owner of more than ten percent. Earlier, on March 12, 2026, an amendment to a previously filed SC TO-I document was submitted.
iQiyi currently holds 33 broadcasting rights for sports competitions including ice hockey, motorsports, combat sports, golf, soccer | association football, tennis, futsal and american football.
