Doordarshan, also known as DD, is a state-owned public television broadcaster headquartered in India and a division of Prasar Bharati. Concurrently, Prasar Bharati will distribute over 8 lakh DD DTH Receiver sets in remote tribal, LWE, and border areas. Previously, on February 26, 2026, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) officially appointed Doordarshan as the broadcaster for the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 season, with DD Sports set to carry the live action nationwide.
