State broadcaster Vietnam Television (VTV) recently secured exclusive rights in Vietnam to the 2026 Fifa World Cup, agreeing to a marginal increase on the fee paid for the previous edition. Previously, on April 21, Vietnam Television reported that Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City planned to increase flight frequency from 44 to 46 flights per hour between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. from April 25 to May 5, to accommodate an upcoming holiday peak.
