Telkom Indonesia, a state-owned enterprise headquartered in Indonesia, was founded in 1965 and employs approximately 17,800 people. The company reported $9.4B in revenue as of 2024. On April 20, 2026, PT Telkom Indonesia and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) officially established a strategic collaboration, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate digital infrastructure with low-carbon energy supply. This agreement specifically aims to explore the use of biomethane, derived from palm oil waste in Sumatra, to power TelkomGroup’s data centers and advance other low-carbon energy solutions for data center development. Previously, on April 13, Telkom Indonesia cancelled its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) that was originally scheduled for April 24, 2026.
