Saudi Telecom Company, also known as STC, is a publicly owned company headquartered in Saudi Arabia. On September 17, 2026, specialized by stc, a unit of stc group, received the Infrastructure Deal of the Year award at the GBM Saudi Arabia Awards 2026. This recognition was for its SAR5.5 billion ($1.45 billion) telecom infrastructure financing. Previously, on September 16, stc group announced an agreement with Astranis to deploy a dedicated micro GEO satellite, part of Astranis' Block 3, to serve Saudi Arabia. This partnership, which gives stc group full authority over payload configuration, coverage, and in-region data security, aims to deliver enterprise-grade connectivity across the Kingdom's networks starting in 2027.
