Vidio, also known as PT Vidio Dot Com, is a privately owned company headquartered in Indonesia. It is a subsidiary of Surya Citra Media. Founded in 2014, the company employs approximately 840 individuals, functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer, and specializes in media and TV services. The company operates an Indonesian over-the-top subscription video-on-demand streaming service. Its services include free-to-air and pay-per-view live broadcasts, movies and series, as well as Vidio original programs. Originally owned by Kreatif Media Karya, Vidio was later acquired by Surya Citra Media, a subsidiary of Emtek. In 2022, Vidio was listed as the largest video-on-demand service provider in Indonesia, surpassing Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Prime Video.
Vidio highlighted its #1 Nielsen ranking on April 29, 2026, framing this achievement as a signal for a new era in OTT advertising. This recognition followed a period of extensive content broadcasting earlier in the year. On January 20, the company announced its exclusive live broadcast of Proliga 2026 Matchweek 3, scheduled from January 22 to 25. Previously, on January 17, Vidio confirmed that its special entertainment event, Vidio Penasaran 2026, would offer free access to viewers. On January 12, Vidio also secured exclusive live broadcast rights for the 2025/26 Carabao Cup semifinal first leg, which took place on January 14 and 15. This sports coverage began earlier, on January 5, with the announcement that all matches of Proliga 2026, the country's highest-level indoor volleyball tournament starting January 8, would be exclusively available live through its OTT service.
Vidio currently holds 16 broadcasting rights for sports competitions including badminton, basketball, rugby union, volleyball, combat sports, soccer | association football and motorsports.
