On March 20, 2026, rural broadband provider Quickline celebrated the first anniversary of its career insight platform, a free digital resource assisting individuals across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in exploring career opportunities and developing skills. Previously, on March 5, Quickline's device donation drive provided vital technology, including tablets for village halls and Chromebooks for frontline charities, helping hundreds of people, families, children, and jobseekers get online and stay connected. Earlier, on February 19, Quickline expanded its network, making fast, reliable full-fibre broadband accessible to over 40,000 homes and businesses across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire as part of the Government’s Project Gigabit programme. This expansion brought gigabit-capable broadband to communities that historically struggled with slow or unreliable connections, spanning rural villages in North Yorkshire to market towns in Lincolnshire and areas across South and West Yorkshire.
