Pixar Animation Studios, a privately owned company headquartered in US, operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios. Founded in 1986, and with approximately 3,500 employees, the company reported $700.0M in revenue as of 2024 and functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer. It specializes in media managed services, operating as an animation-based studio, VFX, and production company.
Andrew Stanton is co-writing and co-directing Pixar's *Toy Story 5*, which the studio has scheduled for a June 12, 2026 theatrical release. Stanton has shaped the franchise for more than half his life, following two previous installments that each grossed over a billion dollars. This follows Fresh Del Monte's announcement on April 29 of a major global on-pack collaboration with Disney and *Toy Story 5*. The promotion, set to roll out across several European markets from May to September, beginning in the UK, will feature characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie on millions of Del Monte products, including Peach Slices, Fruit Cocktail, Pineapple juice, and Mango & Papaya juice. The campaign is timed to coincide with the movie’s cinematic release on June 19, 2026.
