Jamuna Group

Jamuna Group, also known as Jamuna TV, is a privately owned entity headquartered in Bangladesh. Founded in 2014, the company specializes in broadcast television and radio. It operates as part of one of Bangladesh's largest private industrial conglomerates, the broader Jamuna Group. This larger group was founded in 1974 by industrialist Nurul Islam Babul, initially with Jamuna Electric Manufacturing Co. Ltd., and has since expanded into diverse sectors including textiles, chemicals, leather, real estate, beverages, electronics, retail, and mass media over five decades. The media and publishing portfolio, under which Jamuna Group operates, is primarily managed by Jamuna Television Ltd. and Salma Islam (Group Chairman, following the death of founder Nurul Islam Babul in 2020). The conglomerate operates out of the Jamuna Future Park Complex in Dhaka.
