The Hughes JUPITER Ground System will enable high-throughput capacity for the upcoming NIGCOMSAT-2A and 2B satellites, allowing for deployment across NigComSat's new satellite fleet. The platform supports operations on the Ka, Ku, and C bands, delivering high-speed broadband, enterprise services, and government connectivity in Nigeria and neighboring markets. Preparation for establishing the ground system and local manufacturing footprint is set to begin in 2026, ahead of the 2028 and 2029 satellite launches.
