Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation, also known as EBC, is a state-owned national public service broadcaster headquartered in Ethiopia. Founded in 1962, the company employs approximately 370 individuals. Its main product is broadcast television and radio. Historically operating as Ethiopian Television (ETV) and ERTA, EBC is the country's oldest and largest broadcast enterprise. Operating under a parliamentary mandate via the Ethiopian Media Authority, EBC manages nationwide television channels, national FM radio stations, and multi-lingual regional services broadcasting in Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Tigrinya, Somali, Afar, English, and French.
