The incident, which peaked with over 7,000 user complaints, affected residential and business users in San Francisco, Oakland, the South Bay, Marin County, and Napa, causing brief service interruptions and highlighting recurring connectivity challenges. Earlier, on March 16, Xfinity and Comcast Business also made high-speed fiber internet available in Cheney, Washington, as part of an ongoing investment in Spokane County, with the project expected to be completed by the end of the year.
