On March 17, 2026, CNN Greece celebrated ten years of operation as a digital news media outlet, established through a strategic cooperation with CNN International to offer a reliable and multidimensional news destination combining international perspective and CNN expertise with Greek content. Previously, on March 16, CNN International appointed Sylvie Zhuang as Senior China Reporter, based in its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong, to provide an on-the-ground understanding of China for its international audience. Earlier in March, on the 6th, Türkiye's Communications Directorate condemned CNN International for broadcasting a "misleading" map that misrepresented regions inhabited by Kurds, describing the channel's editorial framing as "seriously concerning." This follows the expansion of CNN International Commercial's (CNNIC) long-term partnership with Hyundai Motor Company on January 28, which includes a new global campaign and Hyundai Motor's exclusive sponsorship of the new CNN Originals Series "K-Everything."
