Bosnian-Herzegovinian Radio Television, also known as Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina or BHRT, is a state-owned entity headquartered in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Founded in 1945, the corporation employs approximately 900 individuals and reported $18.7M in revenue as of 2025, functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Specializing in broadcast television and radio, BHRT operates as the national public broadcasting corporation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headquartered at the RTV Dom ("Grey House") in Sarajevo. Originally founded in April 1945 as Radio Sarajevo and expanding to television in June 1961 under the Yugoslav Radio Television (JRT) network, the institution evolved into RTV BiH in 1992 and subsequently BHRT to serve as the country's central state-level public broadcaster. As the only active member representing Bosnia and Herzegovina within the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), BHRT occupies a foundational position within a unique, legally mandated tripartite public broadcasting system alongside entity-level sub-networks: RTVFBiH (serving the Federation of BiH) and RTRS (serving the Republika Srpska).
