The broadcast of the Asian Games, scheduled from September 19 to October 4, 2026, will be available free of charge across Indonesia. Earlier in the month, on September 2, TVRI marked its 64th anniversary with a ceremony at its North Sulawesi station, gathering leaders, employees, and members of the TVRI Dharma Wanita association in traditional regional attire. Previously, on July 17, Türkiye and Indonesia agreed to deepen cooperation in media, strategic communications, and public diplomacy during a high-level roundtable in Jakarta, which brought together senior officials and media executives to discuss practical joint projects. This followed TVRI's move on July 15 to utilize the Etere Ecosystem for delivering coverage of the World Cup 2026 across Indonesia on its TVRI Nasional and TVRI Sport channels, deploying the system with Etere’s distributor PT Galva Technologies.
