Operated by Pakistan's largest mobile operator, Jazz, a subsidiary of the multinational telecommunications group VEON, the platform was originally launched as a telecommunications-backed mobile TV app and officially rebranded as Tamasha in October 2021. It provides live linear streaming for over 75 national and international television channels, digital rights for major global and national sports tournaments (including Asia Cup, ICC tournaments, and local cricket leagues), on-demand movies, Pakistani drama series, and original short-form web content (Tamasha Shots).
