On February 24, 2026, StudioCanal, a part of the Canal+ Group, acquired a 51 percent majority stake in Lucky Red, an Italian distribution, production, and sales company. The Rome-based Lucky Red also maintains a TV production business, having produced titles such as "Belcanto" for RAI and Netflix, "Gigolo per Caso" for Prime Video, and "Christian" for Sky.
