Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong attended a high-level economic forum in Beijing for the second consecutive year on March 22, aiming to maintain ties in the key Chinese market amidst rising US-China tensions; SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung also attended the China Development Forum. Earlier on March 22, Samsung C&T's construction division announced a collaboration with global architectural planner SMDP to develop the 19th and 25th integrated reconstruction project in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, with plans to create a new landmark along the Han River using specialized design and artificial intelligence technologies.
