Sagemcom, also known as SAGEMCOM BROADBAND SAS, is a privately owned French industrial group founded in 2008. Employing over 4,080 people, the company's primary focus is the design and manufacture of products for broadband aggregation and home networks. In 2024, Sagemcom reported revenues exceeding $1 billion. Its product portfolio extends to the broader communication technology sectors of video and energy.
On July 28, 2025, Sagemcom received the first prplWare 3.2 device certification. This certification allows operators increased choice and confidence in device behavior and application consistency. Separately, Sagemcom provided an Android set-top box for Lowi, Vodafone Spain's low-cost brand, for its new EUR 5 per month TV service. The service includes over 100 channels and allows simultaneous viewing on a second device via an app. A sports package add-on costs an additional EUR 3 per month.
