The company functions as a provider of media and TV services, specifically operating as Sri Lanka's dedicated subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) and pay-per-view (A La Carte) OTT streaming platform. Developed and published by Evoke Digital Australia PTY Ltd in partnership with Sri Lanka’s Evoke International, Roopa Hala focuses exclusively on Sinhala cinema and digital entertainment, serving both domestic viewers and the global Sri Lankan diaspora. The platform hosts a library of thousands of hours of content, including over 500 Sinhala feature films ranging from classic cinema archives such as Gamperaliya and Rekawa to modern theatrical blockbusters, TV series, 4K Ultra HD releases, and exclusive premiere shows.
