On April 28, 2026, Rakuten TV Enterprise, the B2B arm of Rakuten TV, expanded its advertising collaboration with VIDAA, the company behind the VIDAA smart TV operating system. This new agreement focuses on in-stream video and native display advertising across key European markets, including the UK, Germany, and France. Previously, on April 21, Rakuten TV completed its first decarbonisation plan and received a Bronze rating in its inaugural EcoVadis sustainability assessment. This rating places the company in the top 35 percent of assessed organizations over the past 12 months, with its strongest performance in the ethics category, which covers governance, data privacy, security, and compliance. Earlier, on February 6, Virgin Media TV added new Rakuten TV FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channels, providing its customers access to 40 FAST channels visible in the TV guide and searchable via voice control.
