Orange Poland secured an eight-year contract with Enea Operator, valued at PLN 184.47 million, to provide data transmission services using GPRS technology. On an unrelated note, the company began testing a 5G standalone network in Warsaw's Ochota neighbourhood, a trial expected to last several months, focusing on fixed-wireless access and B2B services. Additionally, Orange Poland won a tender from PKP PLK to install 430 digital screens and 1150 video surveillance cameras across 51 Warsaw railway stations; this PLN 82 million project, co-funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Programme, should conclude by the end of the third quarter. Finally, Orange Poland and Canal Plus Poland expanded their partnership; Canal Plus Poland now sells Orange Poland's fixed broadband services in its shops, following a pilot project launched in July.

Orange Poland reports data traffic increase of 16% in 2025

Orange Poland has announced that data traffic on its networks reached 11.9 million TB 2025, a year-on-year increase of 16 percent. It said 8.8 million TB were transferred on its fixed network, up by 14 percent. Eighty-five percent of the fixed data traffic was carried by its fibre-optic network of the operator.

Orange Poland opens online shop for refurbished phones with Dipli

Orange Poland, in cooperation with the company Dipli, has opened its new online shop Orange Powered by Twice. The new shop sells refurbished smartphones from Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi and other vendors, all with a 24-month warranty. Dipli provides the technological and operational infrastructure for the Twice platform. It operates a pan-European platform for circular technology, supporting the buyback and resale of refurbished devices.

Orange CFO steps down from Orange Poland supervisory board

Orange Poland announced that Laurent Martinez has resigned as a member of the supervisory board of the company, effective 30 January. Martinez, the CFO at parent company Orange SA, sat on the supervisory board at Orange Poland since 2023. At the next board meeting in February Orange will propose Usman Javaid as his replacement on the supervisory board. He is chief product and marketing officer at Orange Business.

Play, Orange Poland win most porting customers in Q4

A total 452,331 mobile customers ported numbers to a new operator in Poland in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to figures from the regulator UKE. The number grew by almost 53,000 year-on-year. The operator Play, controlled by Iliad, gained the most new numbers (excluding UPC Poland), with the addition of 28,160 SIMs. Orange Poland came second with 20,121 SIMs added.

Orange Poland, APG to acquire fibre operator Nexera

Orange Poland and APG, on behalf of the pension fund ABP, have agreed the acquisition of Polish wholesale operator Nexera. The acquisition will expand the fibre network of their existing joint venture Swiatlowod Inwestycje by around 800,000 homes passed. The enterprise value of the transaction is PLN 1.5 billion, including around PLN 1 billion in bank debt.
