Orange Polska won a PLN 177.7 million tender from the Polish Cyberspace Resources Centre of the Armed Forces on June 23, 2026, to provide commercial GSM/LTE/5G network coverage in areas lacking commercial interest, specifically supporting the East Shield Programme. Orange Poland said that its cybersecurity unit CERT blocked 330,000 fake internet domains in the first half of this year. The number grew by 30 percent year-on-year. Some 3.2 million customers were protected from accessing fake websites.
