On June 25, 2026, OIV began participating in the European project HERIT ADAPT, which aims to strengthen the resilience of cultural and natural heritage against climate change and promote sustainable tourism in Mediterranean regions. As part of this initiative, OIV partnered with the Dubrovnik Development Agency (DURA d.o.o.) to implement an IoT system for monitoring microclimate conditions in the Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik. Previously, on June 24, 2026, OIV, in cooperation with Telemach, enabled OIV DAB+ digital radio coverage in the Marjan Tunnel in Split, a key transport corridor, expanding the national digital radio network into transport infrastructure. Earlier, on August 28, 2025, OIV was named the technical implementer for a €285 million national broadband project. This project, launched by Croatia’s economy ministry, aims to expand high-speed internet to rural regions, coastal areas, and islands, supporting digital transformation, boosting regional development, and strengthening national security.
