Naver Corp., South Korea's largest online portal operator, reported on April 30 that its first-quarter net profit fell 31.3 percent year-over-year. The company's net profit for the three months ending in March declined to 291 billion won ($195.9 million) from 423.7 billion won in the same period last year, primarily weighed down by foreign exchange losses. Previously, on April 21, Naver and India's Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement was one of 16 signed at the India-Korea Business Forum, aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation.
