Ministry of Culture and Information (Kazakhstan), also known as MCI, is a State Owned entity headquartered in Kazakhstan, founded in 2023. This central executive body of the Government of Kazakhstan was re-established in September 2023 under Presidential Decree No. 318, reorganizing functions from the former Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Information and Social Development. Led by Minister Aida Balaeva, the ministry formulates state policy across cultural heritage, media regulation, civil society engagement, and public communications.
