Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Comunicacion y la Informacion, also known as MIPPCI, MINCI, or Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information, is a State Owned entity based in Venezuela. Founded in 2002, the ministry operates as the executive-level institution of the Venezuelan State responsible for formulating, planning, and executing the nation's communication, information, and public advertising policies. It functions as the central hub of the National Public Media System, overseeing state broadcasters such as VTV, RNV, and the agency AVN, while also housing the regulatory body CONATEL. The organisation utilises a "Multi-Channel Sovereign Information" strategy to manage the President’s official communications, coordinate international press accreditation, and promote community and alternative media through the SiBCI (Bolivarian Communication and Information System).
