Also on September 16, *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* surpassed *Star Wars: The Force Awakens* to become the highest-grossing domestic film, maintaining its top box office position for six consecutive weeks before *Practical Magic 2* dethroned it. Earlier that day, Walkers Snacks announced an on-pack promotion in collaboration with Marvel Studios for the release of *Avengers: Doomsday* in cinemas on December 16. The promotion, running in-store from September, features exclusive packaging, a limited-edition product, and offers prizes including a family holiday to Tokyo.
