On September 17, 2026, Marcus Theatres, the fourth-largest cinema circuit in America, and A24 resolved a months-long dispute over film terms that Marcus Theatres had deemed "economically unviable," which had led to the circuit not screening A24 movies. Earlier on September 17, A24 announced a two-year creative collaboration with DIOR, covering film, theatre, and live events. This agreement establishes Dior as the main partner for New York's Cherry Lane Theatre, with the partnership launching at the venue to mark the first anniversary of its reopening under A24's management. News on September 17 also highlighted that BTS member Jimin had spotlighted the new "Dior A24" partnership by sharing photographs of himself in a branded T-shirt on Instagram on September 13. Previously, on September 16, A24's announced feature film adaptation of the internet IP SCP Foundation encountered a unique copyright issue, potentially derailing the project. This follows A24's September 15 announcement that it had teamed with Spooky Pictures and Image Nation Studios to bring the SCP Foundation to the big screen for the first time with "V/H/S: SCP," targeting a 2027 theatrical release.
