Magine Pro, a privately owned company headquartered in Sweden, was founded in 2011 and employs approximately 60 individuals. It reported $2.1M in revenue as of 2024. The company provides video business systems and functions as a tier 3 media tech buyer, specializing in creating live, linear TV and Video-On-Demand streaming services.
The Leyra joint venture, formed by Accedo and Magine Pro, announced on April 8, 2026, that Iceland's public broadcaster Rikisutvarpid (RUV) became the first public broadcaster to deploy its streaming platform. RUV's new service will launch on Samsung and LG devices, offering both live and on-demand content, including linear television and radio channels. This follows the official launch of the Leyra joint venture on March 22, 2026, which combines Magine Pro’s end-to-end OTT platform, covering the complete subscriber lifecycle, with Accedo One’s OTT technology and its Accedo One Marketplace. Leyra CEO Markus Hejdenberg stated the venture aims to create a global leader in SaaS solutions for OTT streaming by bringing together complementary technology and expertise. The launch in March unified the two companies' SaaS businesses into a single offering designed to enable OTT providers to boost audience engagement and retention. This joint venture follows a December announcement by video streaming software and services provider Accedo and fellow Sweden-based OTT platform provider Magine Pro to carve out and merge their respective SaaS businesses, Accedo One and Magine Pro, into a new jointly owned company.
Magine Pro's customers primarily consist of telecoms, online Audio and Video Media and online Media companies. Examples of Magine Pro's customers include Telefonica, Cinewax and Paus.
