Earlier, on April 16, AST Networks announced its offering of Kymeta Peregrine and Hawk LEO terminals for the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO network, identifying them as the first flat-panel antennas designed for the maritime market on this network. This followed Kymeta Government & Defense securing a three-year contract with the US Office for Naval Research (ONR) on April 15. The contract aims to mature and expedite research into Kymeta's multi-band multi-beam antenna technology, which supports four concurrent full-duplex beams in Ku- and Ka-band frequencies with a single antenna aperture.
