Eluvio, a privately owned US-based company founded in 2017, develops and provides video business systems leveraging blockchain technology. The company employs approximately 40 people and, as of 2024, reported revenues of less than $10 million. Its primary focus is on the management and distribution of premium video content.
In advance of IBC 2025 (September 12-15, 2025), Eluvio announced that the United Rugby Championship (URC), Cricket Australia (CA), and WPALive.TV (the exclusive broadcast distributor for the World Pool Association, WPA) selected Eluvio Content Fabric and Application Suite. This technology will power next-generation video distribution, including direct-to-consumer (D2C) OTT streaming, deep archive, AI, and direct-to-fan monetization. Eluvio also unveiled a new capability to replace legacy satellite and point-to-point fiber for live global broadcast feed distribution. This new system uses Content Fabric distribution over commodity IP, offering sub-second latency, multi-path redundant routing, and security without cloud round trips or egress fees.
Eluvio's customers primarily consist of contact sports and spectator Sports companies. Examples of Eluvio's customers include Cricket Australia and European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). Eluvio has commercial and technical partners like Dalet, Warner Bros. Discovery and Bedrock.
