Digital Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE: DLR) announced a joint venture with Rönesans Infrastructure on September 14 to develop and operate data centers in Türkiye, with the first Ankara campus designed for over 22 megawatts of IT capacity. Previously on September 17, Digital Core REIT's manager and its sponsor, Digital Realty, revealed an agreement to divest three properties to Digital Realty and acquire stakes in two others, including one in Singapore, to recycle capital for future growth. Earlier the same day, AXG and Digital Realty partnered to enable global system integrators and managed service providers to deliver hosted private infrastructure as a service across more than 30 countries. This follows research from Digital Realty's 2026 Global Data Insights Survey, also released on September 17, which found 40% of IT decision-makers identify a lack of specialized infrastructure as a primary constraint on their AI initiatives, underscoring the pressure enterprise AI places on infrastructure.
