This follows CoreSite's announcement on April 29 of the introduction of 100Gbps Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVCs) across its nationwide Open Cloud Exchange® (OCX) platform, a software-defined interconnection service designed to simplify and accelerate connectivity for hybrid IT deployments. The company also recently provided a tour of its NY3 facility in Secaucus, New Jersey, where CEO Juan Font described CoreSite's data centers as akin to shopping malls, enabling multiple companies to share common infrastructure such as power and cooling.
