UPC Slovakia and DSiData have blocked the ability to fast-forward past ads on TV channels from broadcaster Markiza on their TV archive platforms, reports Zive. The change will cover the channels Markiza, Doma, Dajto, Markiza Krimi and Markiza Klasik. Slovak Telekom, Skylink, Digi Slovakia, O2 Slovakia, Orange Slovakia and SledovanieTV already limit the skipping of ads on Markiza channels; with Slovanet set to implement the change this week. Markíza is hoping the restrictions will help increase its revenue.
