Previously, on June 17, 2026, Pixop confirmed its machine learning video enhancement platform powered this 4K broadcast, converting a live HD feed into a dedicated 24-hour 4K UHD channel covering 52 matches. This followed an announcement on June 16, 2026, that Chilevisión, the exclusive free-to-air rights holder for the FIFA World Cup 2026, and ClaroVTR, the country's largest pay-TV operator, partnered with Pixop and Dynamic Media Group to process an upscaled 1080i feed to deliver a 4K UHD experience of the tournament.
