Also on September 17, the company added developers, even as the broader video game industry faces its worst downturn in decades, marked by tens of thousands of job losses. This industry pain is largely concentrated in North America and Europe, a downturn Japan is largely dodging. Earlier the same day, Capcom partnered with Kashihara City and Kintetsu Railway to introduce Street Fighter 6 character designs and special experiences at Yamato-Yagi Station in Nara, Japan.
