Bedrock, also known as Bedrock Streaming, is a privately owned company headquartered in France, jointly owned by RTL Group and M6 Group. Founded in 2020 and employing approximately 280 individuals, the company reported $45.9M in revenue as of 2024. Functioning as a tier 2 media tech buyer, Bedrock specializes in video business systems, operating as a French video platform and OVP provider.
Bedrock and the Rock Entertainment Group announced on March 11, 2026, plans to bring a 6,200-seat outdoor amphitheater to downtown Cleveland as part of its Riverfront transformational development. Live Nation will operate the entertainment venue, which is set to host concerts, festivals, and other events. Earlier the same day, Bedrock, an autonomous construction startup, secured $270 million in funding, co-led by CapitalG and Valor Equity Partners through its Valor Atreides AI Fund, with NVIDIA’s venture capital arm NVentures also participating. This latest round brings Bedrock’s total investment to over $350 million. This follows news from March 10, when Jared Fleisher, a top real estate lieutenant for Dan Gilbert responsible for redeveloping the Renaissance Center into a Detroit riverfront destination, highlighted Grand Rapids as a model for Michigan's placemaking success.
Bedrock's customers primarily consist of broadcast Media Production and Distribution and broadcast television and radio companies. Examples of Bedrock's customers include RTL Group, RTL Netherlands and M6 Group. Examples of Bedrock's suppliers include Synamedia and Unified Streaming.
