On September 10, 2026, Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd. and Rupayan City Uttara signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish faster and modern communication for residents and customers via digital platforms. Previously, on September 9, Banglalink ranked first in eight out of 11 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission's (BTRC) monthly report on cellular mobile phone operator service quality, an achievement reflecting its focus on network performance and regulatory compliance. Earlier, on September 8, Banglalink received two ESG Excellence Awards 2026 for its self-retailer app, Banglalink Power, which expands digital earning opportunities. The company was recognized in the external supply-chain collaboration and partnerships and ESG technology and digital innovation categories at a ceremony jointly organized by the ESG Institute Bangladesh and the Global Compact Network Bangladesh.
