On May 1, 2026, Banglalink partnered with beauty-tech platform Romoni to launch a digital income initiative for women service providers, aiming to boost digital income opportunities, provide digital skills, and promote financial inclusion by training participants to perform mobile recharges for commissions. Previously, on April 30, Banglalink introduced its Home Connectivity Pack, a data bundle designed for Bangladesh’s evolving work-from-home and online-learning environment, responding to the increased need for reliable connectivity due to the government's introduction of online classes and a shift towards home office arrangements. Earlier, on April 27, the company announced a 1GB free data offer for customers in parts of the country experiencing frequent mobile network disruptions due to ongoing electricity outages, aiming to support those facing connectivity challenges during the current crisis.
