At NAB 2026 on April 20, 2026, Advanced HDR by Technicolor and Amlogic announced the integration of the Advanced HDR solution into major NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0) conversion boxes, which are powered by Amlogic platforms. Rick Dumont of Advanced HDR by Technicolor noted that their solution can carry both SDR and HDR in a single signal, ensuring an optimal viewing experience without concerns about TV compatibility. This followed Amlogic (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.'s submission of its IPO prospectus to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 12, 2026. The Shanghai-based semiconductor company aims to list on the Main Board with CICC and Haitong International acting as joint sponsors, marking its second attempt at an IPO after its prior application, submitted on September 25, 2025, lapsed.
