Previously, on August 6, the company partnered with Liga Portugal, the top division of Portuguese football, to modernize connectivity infrastructure across the league. This collaboration provides clubs access to specialist expertise for enhancing stadiums, training centers, and academies. This follows an announcement on July 27 that Vodafone Spain is restructuring its passive infrastructure strategy, aiming to redistribute some telecommunications sites to Cellnex and American Tower Corporation, thereby reducing Vantage Towers' role as one of the Spanish operator’s main tower providers.
