Previously, on March 18, Vantage Towers partnered with PowerX Technology to deploy an AI platform across 220 rural telecom sites to digitize energy management. This initiative aims to provide real-time visibility and a data-driven approach to energy management, equipping the largely off-grid sites with continuous telemetry and monitoring to replace manual diesel oversight. Earlier, on March 9, Vantage Towers teamed up with Telefonica to launch Spain's first 5G SA mall network by deploying a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the Plaza Norte 2 shopping centre in Madrid's northern suburbs. This installation provides strong, stable, high-performance mobile coverage throughout the complex, including shops, galleries, cinemas, and parking areas.
