On June 16, 2026, the D-III College Championships in Waukegan, Ill., concluded with the Middlebury Pranksters achieving the first-ever sweep of both divisions, as their men’s team defeated Carleton 15-7 and their women’s team beat Whitman 15-6 to secure two national titles. Previously, on May 23, the D-I College Championships kicked off in Rockford, Ill., where the top four seeds in both the men’s and women’s divisions remained undefeated in the first round of pool play despite windy conditions. This followed the announcement of the finalists for the Callahan Award by USA Ultimate on May 21. Earlier in the month, on May 4, the fields were set for both the Division I and Division III College Championships, with 72 teams advancing from over 600 colleges and universities across North America after the final round of college regional events. In April, USA Ultimate announced on April 27 that its Beach Championships would take place on May 9 and 10, bringing 86 teams from across the nation to Virginia Beach to compete across three elite divisions and five age-restricted Masters competitive divisions.
