Tving, also known as 티빙, is a privately owned company headquartered in South Korea, operating under its parent company CJ ENM Global. Founded in 2010 with approximately 110 employees, it reported $319.6M in revenue as of 2024. The company specializes in media and TV services, functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer. It operates as an online streaming service under TVING Corporation, a joint venture of CJ E&M (CJ Group), Naver, and JTBC, providing a platform that streams dramas, entertainment shows, exclusive television films, and specials.
Tving and Wavve established a strategic partnership on March 16, 2026, agreeing to mutually supply major original content from both companies, enabling users to access works from both platforms with a single subscription. Previously, on March 11, Tving was listed as an "OTT self-rated excellent business operator" by the Korea Media Rating Board, becoming the first domestic OTT operator to be selected in this sector for its voluntary classification and user protection efforts. This follows a February 2 report indicating that the proposed merger between Tving and Wavve, which aimed for economies of scale within domestic online video services, has been drifting for four years, with the companies operating jointly but without a finalized integration.
