On February 19, 2026, TV Brasil began co-producing its first original telenovela, "Vambora," in partnership with Portuguese production company SPi and Brazilian company Kromaki. This project marks SPi's inaugural participation in the creation of a fictional work developed from scratch for the Brazilian public broadcaster. Previously, on January 19, 2026, the program "O Caminhos da Reportagem" surpassed 100 awards, reaching 101 honors received since 2010 by the end of 2025. On January 14, 2026, TV Brasil started broadcasting the 2026 Ceará State Football Championship, men's division, featuring the match between Ceará and Maranguape. This followed the broadcaster's January 13, 2026, commencement of broadcasting the 2026 Capixaba Championship, which opened with the match between Desportiva Ferroviária and Rio Branco de Venda Nova.
