The Manchester Metropolitan University

The Manchester Metropolitan University, also known as MMU, is a publicly owned university headquartered in the UK, founded in 1970 with approximately 8,830 employees. The institution, whose predecessor Manchester Polytechnic gained university status in 1992, is home to four faculties: Arts and Humanities, Business and Law, Health and Education, and Science and Engineering. It serves approximately 44,000 students and is recognized as the fifth-largest university in the United Kingdom by total enrolment.
