This lab provides faculty and researchers with a centralized space for collaborative data analysis and computational modeling. Earlier, on February 23, a curved 0.9 DVLED Planar video wall, mounted to an AMD stand, and three Planar 38-inch curved desktop displays were featured at the Activu vis/ability booth at Distributech 2026, with the video wall running vis/ability control room software via a mobile hotspot connection. This followed an installation on February 5, where Planar DirectLight Ultra was utilized in the Contemplative Commons at the University of Virginia Charlottesville, forming a full-resolution pre-recorded custom showcase of nature scenes that acts as both dynamic artwork and an architectural element.
